All wind, percussion and colorguard members are eligible to be a part of the Trojan Marching Band during marching season. Students must be enrolled in a primary concert ensemble (Symphonic Band, Concert Band I&II, Percussion Ensemble or Color Guard). The rehearsal demands on students are rigorous, and the highest level of commitment is expected. Due to illness, absences, eligibility, etc…, the marching band must have an alternate policy in place. Please see our alternate policy in the handbook. Performances include all home varsity football games, pep rallies, parades, and marching competitions throughout the season. Please see the schedule for exact dates/times.

The Fountain-Fort Carson Guard is most well known for their contribution to the marching band in the fall. Using rifles, sabers, props, and a wide assortment of flags, the guard provides a fantastic visual effect to the show. All Color Guard members must be enrolled in Color Guard class during the fall semester, and attend all rehearsals and performances during our competitive season. Color Guard class meets during 6th period during the fall semester.

To help promote school spirit and support our athletic teams, the FFCHS Music Program provides a Pep-Band at home basketball games.  Pep-Band performances will be limited to Friday and Saturday games as much as possible. Each student will receive a game schedule for the entire season well ahead of the first performance to allow time for scheduling.
